Roehampton Community Weeks
Roehampton Community Weeks is an incredibly varied, fun programme of free and low cost events and activities delivered by the amazing community groups and charities working here in Roehampton. Our Roehampton is the programme co-ordinator and publisher, and supports community groups to participate.
It’s a great way for local people to get out and about, meet friends, family and neighbours, have lots of fun at events and activities as varied as our community fun days, children’s' activities, yoga and well-being workshops, talks and walks, and much much more.
Highlights include:
Tuesday 4 August at 2 – 5pm Alton Community Fun Day with Our Roehampton, Wandbrough Drive, Alton Estate, SW15 4QL
Lots of fun activities such as crafting, printing from nature, self-defence, football, face painting, henna art, messy play, line dancing & tasty food. Free, drop-in for all the family and young people aged 12 – 25.
Wednesday 5 August at 10am – 3pm Children’s Fun Day with Our Roehampton, Main Hall and Next Gen Youth Space, Roehampton Family Hub, 166 Roehampton Lane, SW15 4LR
Children’s fun and entertainment including messy play, crafts, storytelling, board games and tasty food.Free, drop-in for children, young people and family, children below 16 years must be accompanied by adults
Thursday 6 August at 11am – 4:30pm Bring a mate or meet new people – Men's Day in Roehampton! Portswood Place SW15 4ED
Come to the first-ever, all-inclusive Men's Day. Interesting workshops including gardening, learning ukelele, open mic electronic music, boxing, a friendly football match, open day at the Community Shed and tasty food. Free, drop-in, for 16+ males. Younger males are welcome too but must be accompanied by a male adult.
Friday 7 August at 12 – 3pm Lennox Community Fun Day with Our Roehampton, Lennox Sheltered Housing Clubroom, 42-59 Ludovick Walk, SW15 5LE
Lots of fun activities such as crafting, printing from nature, self-defence, football, face painting, henna art, messy play and tasty food. Free, drop-in for all the family and young people aged 12-25.

Sunday 9 August at 2 – 6:30pm Women’s Wellness Day, Davies Sports Hall, Froebel College, University of Roehampton, Roehampton Lane, SW15 5PJ
You are invited to join our relaxing wellbeing afternoon and enjoy sessions on natural healing, Pilates, art, sound bath, a sister circle and healthy snacks. Free but please book your place by emailing info@ourroehampton.org
Wednesday 12 August at 11am – 3pm Birds and butterflies community picnic at Community Garden with Our Roehampton and Methodist Church, Roehampton Methodist Church, Minstead Gardens, London SW15 4EB
Join us at the new Community Garden with your picnic to enjoy a variety of nature-themed workshops both for children and adults. Free, drop-in, children, young adults and families welcome, under 16 should be accompanied by adults.
Sunday 16 August at 2 – 5pm Putney Vale Community Fun Day with Our Roehampton, Newlands Hall (Putney Vale Clubroom), 226 Stroud Crescent, Putney Vale Estate, London, SW15 3EP
