About Us

Our Roehampton is the community development trust for the ward of Roehampton.

Our mission is to improve the social, economic, health and well-being, and the environment of the people of Roehampton.

We want to bring about a flourishing, healthier, inclusive, connected, and collaborative Roehampton, in partnership with our residents, community leaders and other organisations who work in Roehampton.

Where do we come from?

Trustees of local charity Roehampton Trust discussed with community members involved in the My Roehampton Community Capacity Building project (MyRoe) about how to ensure the best elements of both initiatives carry on long-term. We shared common values and goals about creating better lives for the people of Roehampton, so we joined forces and local people active in MyRoe joined the board of the Roehampton Trust.

Our working name is Our Roehampton as chosen by local residents and community leaders.

Our board of trustees are:

Angus Robertson (chair), Imoleayo Sarah Akinade (co-treasurer), Jayne Thorpe (co-treasurer) Iori Harries, Tatiana Dobreva, Jo Anderson, Alan Housden and Anurela Madede.

Our staff members are:

  • Noreen Meehan - Director

  • Suchi Majumdar - Community Development Lead

  • Siobhan O’Neill - Admin and Comms Co-ordinator
