🌱 Community Garden Update! 🌱

We’re growing something amazing together around the grounds of the

Methodist Church on Minstead Gardens, which sits at the heart of one of

the largest housing estates in London.

The idea for the garden was born out of conversations with the 60 community

members in November 2024, who expressed a desire for more green, recreational

growing spaces that the community could create and manage, around their needs.

Our Roehampton responded, and thanks to the support of the Wimbledon

Foundation, planning work with our community panel is now underway to help

turn the visions and ideas shared with us into a reality.

We continued listening and creating space for more voices to be heard…

On 6th November 2025, we held an inspirational event for the new Community Garden at the Methodist Church. A huge thank you to everyone who joined and shared their brilliant ideas!

Now, we’re excited to announce our Community Garden Panel meetings for 2026.‍ ‍Click here for Jan - March 2026 dates

Our Community Garden meeting on the 6th November 2025 was a hit!

We had an amazing consultation with 37 residents and community leaders about the new Community Garden at the Methodist Church at Minstead Gardens!

People gathered in a room decorated with red and blue bunting. One man standing appears to be observing a seated man eating, while other individuals are engaged in discussions.
A woman and a man having a conversation indoors. The woman is wearing a burgundy blazer and black pants, the man is wearing black. They are standing near a wall with large sheets of paper on it.
A group of women sitting at a conference table during a meeting or workshop, with papers, markers, and cups on the table and a window with informational pamphlets in the background.
